CONFLUENCE’s five members hold academic degrees in the fields of architecture, interior design, sculpture, and landscape architecture, and all five partners possess practical experience in these respective fields. The combination of education, design and hands on fabrication experience, ensures CONFLUENCE’s ability to enter a project at multiple stages of design development, from the very basic schematic sketch to the highly-detailed construction document. Aaron Senne and Albert Mitchell are the managing principals of CONFLUENCE Design | Fabrication.
Aaron is a tall drink of water. In addition to being a father, Aaron is also an adjunct lecturer at Washington University in Saint Louis. He can draw like the dickens and loathes automated telemarketing calls. If he isn’t cutting something down on the table saw he is probably browsing ?materialicious on his iphone.
Albie (a.k.a Albert) has emerged from humble origins, the son of a salesman and a hospital chaplain. In sixth grade he completed a wooden note pad holder to facilitate transcribing telephone messages before the advent of voicemail. If he isn’t eating lunch or watching Aaron cut something down on the table saw he is probably on his way to U-Haul in his European sport hatchback, it’s turbo-charged.
