Confluence was contracted to coordinate, fabricate, and install a fully custom installation for displaying historic drawings, prints, and photographs from the MOMA and Pompidou collection for Metabolic City, a special exhibition for the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum. Confluence collaborated with Axi:Ome on the design, ensuring the completion of the project on time and within the budget. The installation includes a 120 foot long table that integrates the display of a gallery timeline and narrative, original prints, architectural models, two videos projected simultaneously on translucent screens, and temporary seating. The result was a visually stunning exhibition that provided a unique experience for each visitor.
